Gods, Deities, and their legends are some of the most amazing stories that have created a huge impact on people and societies even up to date. These stories have come into existence thousands of years ago and have been giving inspiration to artists all over the world for ages.
This article is about an artist who drew his inspiration from the ancient Gods and deities that he has recreated. Meet Oliver Marinkos, an awesome digital artist who comes from Macedonia. Being a fan of sculpturing and ancient myths, he decided to create these characters in a newer version that he visioned for himself.
So, using 3D designing, Oliver has managed to create some cool sculpture-style 3D designs of these Gods but with a twist of a modern element within them. This 3D artist has created these Slavic Gods in a very Roman-style sculpture design mixed up with a few modern-day elements to it. Oliver has explained himself on Bored Panda that he does not specifically set out to create these sorts of creations, but he creates these sorts of collections when a pure & raw inspiration hits his creative imagination.
It is very interesting what an artist can come up with in his mind. This collection of 3D designs is a perfect example of it. This fusion of modern and Roman interpretation of these Slavic Gods and Deities are not something that has been portrayed by any sort of art before. Therefore, Oliver has managed to grab a lot of attention on the internet as soon as he uploaded his designs. This is the result of following one’s true and pure artistic inspiration, no matter what type of art form it is and no matter how odd it might look in the first place.
So, as an appreciation of this awesome set of designs that Oliver has created, we decided to share some of his creations below this article.
