We once discussed adorable comics made with unimaginable passion. “While I was at work, I missed my pug Mochi so much that I started making these cartoons about him on the train on my way to and from work.”
Spanish artist Gemma Gené, a multi-talented individual from Barcelona, is presently residing in New York. Even though Gemma also does sculpture, painting, and drawing, her hilarious comics about dogs are what she is best known for.
The three primary characters are Mochi, my husband Peli, and myself, according to Gemma’s website. “The beautiful and joyful puppy Mochi has a unique perspective on life. He is really well-behaved and lovely, but he also has a feisty side and essentially does whatever he wants. Sleeping, eating, and taking walks are some of his favorite pastimes, particularly when he is being held.”
