People like to have fun. It is that simple, everyone does. But it takes some time for a person to get comfortable and relaxed. And one of the best and the most known forms of having fun and relaxing is alcohol. It has been associated with human society for a long period of time in different forms.
Meet this very creative photographer Marcos Alberti who is from Brazil. He really wanted to document and collect photos of this common and prolonged culture of having fun with the use of alcohol. It is then that he got the idea to invite a group of friends over to his residence to have wine. But little did everyone know, including the photographer himself that one of his popular projects; “3 Glasses Later” is about to be created.
Just as something to laugh at later, they decide to take a portrait picture at the same place after each glass of wine. This was never a professional photoshoot, just a group of friends. But it turned out to be awesome! Alberti never had any idea that these pictures would be on point for a photo series that he would release but they were. These portraits hilariously showed the differences each glass of wine made. The tired and the neutral looks when they walked through the door after a day at work, no one was very excited.
But as the wine progressed, you can see their moods are being uplifted and they get more comfortable with themselves. This is exactly what this photographer needed to capture on his lens. This set of portraits were shared all over the world when they were uploaded. Soon, they were known all over the world for their natural emotions and the documentation of fun with alcohol.
