The year 2020 has been one of the strangest years in the world. Although the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world, bringing it to a halt with a worldwide lockdown, it also had its silver lining as well. A lot of people had all the world they could have to do what they always wanted to do and try new things. Even though people were in their houses, creativity and artistry flew out of the window.
People found the value of art and sought refuge in it to be creative, to create new avenues also to cope up with the devastation. Among these people, we bring you one talented illustrator from Ohio, meet Nicholas Moegly. He, being one with an artistic eye, took evening walks around his neighborhood to absorb whatever he can to escape the monotonous lifestyle spent inside the house.
On these walks, he noticed things and paid attention to things that he would not have if things were normal. Everybody is familiar with their neighborhood and the town they live in. There is nothing special or new about it since it is regularly visited. But everything changed with the lockdowns, it was not the same as before.
The empty streets gave Nicholas a nostalgic feeling that his artistic eye caught. And soon after, he used his skills to create amazing illustrations to present the feelings that he felt when taking those walks. He posted these eerie and nostalgic illustrations on Bored Panda to share it with the world. To appreciate this talented artist and to share his artwork with you, we listed them down, below this article.
