Artist Converts A Big Redwood Tree To An Octopus Using His Chainsaw

This wonderful piece of art is created by Jeffery Samudosky at JMS Wood Sculpturing in Gig Harbor. This talented artist self-taught himself to wood carve using his chainsaw and this is the result of his talent and enthusiasm; a beautiful Octopus out of one chunk of a fallen Redwood tree.

The detail and the size of this carving takes a lot of time and energy. But for this artist, it was all worth the effort when it was completed. Scroll down to check out the wonderful piece and the progress he made to complete his carving.
