Monkeys are supposed to be really close to humans as living beings. The bodily structure and functions have a lot of similarities. So it is only natural that they show human-like behavior from time to time. And this article brings you some of the funniest instances where monkeys are caught goofing around, on camera.
This goofy behavior is very similar to humans and we can only imagine how they think of such things being not so advanced as us. Well, one example of that is the famous behavior of monkeys; they do what they see. So, maybe that is the reason that their levels of goofiness keep rising as time flows. Maybe they keep a good eye on the people who they see. The act of imitating human behavior is mostly seen with animals who are raised in captivity. It is because they get to spend time with humans and watching humans.
This very clever observation and copying of it could be only pulled off by an animal who is at least nearly smart as a human and the anatomy of the apes facilitates it. A lot of people spot these kinds of behavior in zoos and places they visit with the monkey population there.

Self-Portrait Of A Female Celebes Crested Macaque, Who Had Picked Up Photographer David Slater's Camera And Photographed Herself With It. The monkey selfie copyright dispute is a series of disputes about the copyright status of selfies taken by Celebes crested macaques using equipment belonging to the British nature photographer David Slater. The disputes involve Wikimedia Commons and the blog Techdirt, which have hosted the images following their publication in newspapers in July 2011 over Slater's objections that he holds the copyright, and PETA, who have argued that the macaque should be assigned the copyright.
