Alex Bradley Artist use their form of art to create new things as well as to out put their emotion in a creative form. This is another artist who used their mode of artistry to create their own product using their creativity. Meet Ziqian Liu, she is a photographer who works based around Shanghai. She has created a unique set of portraits in one of her photoshoots.
The talented artist did a self portrait shoot of herself using a circular mirror to reflect herself. By doing this self portrait shoot, she wanted to express how her emotions are reflected within herself. These emotions within herself id projected in colorful and interesting outlook to it. Her minimal set, with the circle mirror suggests emotions of a perfectionist being presented in her photoshoot.
She explains that the self portraits will not be having her face in them. Because the point of view that she wants the photos to be shown is not based on perspective of someone who knows her or identifies her face, but through her emotions. This latest collection of self portraits was named as “reflections 2”. Within the realms of this photoshoot, Liu became ideas with no face. She made sure her message does not have any distractions other than the art she created in these photographs by using a very minimal setting.
