Street Art Tries To Revive Art Back To Life

This a wonderful project by the French artist JR in expressing how the pandemic has affected the world of art. Museums, libraries and public art exhibits suffer majorly ever since the pandemic restricted public gathering. So, JR decided to do a work of art publicly, to express how the art world suffers. On the facades of the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence, JR did what he does best, splattered his message in art.

Depicting Birth of Venus and Primavera through a crack in the wall, the piece is names as “La Ferita” (“the wound” in Spanish). This shows how the world of art is hurt and being pushed out as society distance from each other. Standing almost 33m in width & 28m in height, this piece of art is now publicly displayed in Florence, Italy. Check out the amazing work of JR and share your thoughts with us!More info & Photo Credits: JR | Palazzo Strozzi
