In the early 20th century, people wore these types of clothes which were pretty formal and aesthetic at the same time. This awesome story comes from England where there is a couple who still dress in clothing which was back in the 1930s. Meet this couple; Ruth Shelley & Robert Oestmann. They have always loved fashion, makeup, and how people presented themselves every time they watched a classic movie or visited a museum.
So, after discovering that this look really does match them, they started dressing this way all the time, even when they are at home. Ruth says that she was always a fashion concerned person and this style of fashion just felt right when she tried them on.
Most of the time, they visit vintage stores where they sell vintage/ classic clothes. They buy them and alter their sizes to fit themselves. They do this most of the time rather than getting their clothes made because vintage clothes are the real deal and they feel perfect when tried on.
This couple wears like this on a daily basis and they have earned themselves a lot of followers on social media who are very excited to see their modern lives in a classic style.
