Clothes and fashion are two things that people are more conscious about in the modern-day. The fashion industry is booming as it outputs a huge number of newer designs and outfits all the time. Unlike the older times, there are more options, many promotions, and many social norms are built to accept you in the way you present yourself, now more than ever.
But most people face a lot of trouble financially, trying to keep up with the modern trends and the expensive fashion choices. Have you thought of recycling old clothes to create something new and fashionable? Maybe not, but here is a woman who does that and proves to you that you can stick to a budget, or even use your old clothes to create custom-made clothes.
Meet Caitlin Trantham she loves creating things. What is impressive about her is that she creates almost all of her fashion creations using thrift clothes from a thrift store that she visits usually. She buys them and alters them at home to create amazing dresses and she posts them on social media for the world to see.
She was already into sewing and quilting before she started flipping clothes. She told My Modern Met that she thought of using thrift clothes because the material was less expensive and all she had to do were the alterations. But if you take a look at them, they look as if they were built from scratch.
You can it yourself as well, you do not have to worry about it since the material is from old clothes that are not being used. So, you are not wasting fresh material.
