One of the leading blackwater photographers Jeff Milisen from Hawaii, dives into the deep dark ocean when the sun sets, in search of the amazing marine life.
This requires skill in both diving and photography to maneuver in the deep ocean while managing to get perfect pictures in their own required settings. At the end of this tireless effort, it not only rewards him in great photos but also it helps in identifying and researching marine life. Milisen has contributed a lot with his blackwater photographs to the science community to study and document these beautiful animals of the depths. A Field Guide to Blackwater Diving in Hawaii was his first photo book which he published with his first set of Blackwater photos and he has been exploring the depths ever since.
